My garden flowers

As winter has begun, now its time to say bye  to the flowers in my garden.  Throughout summer I am able make beautiful flower arrangements in my house.

Brrrrr it's cold.... But still  I love winter, best season of the year.

Bye bye pretty flowers, see you again after 6 months......

Pets

My Son's first pet was a Gold fish named Goldie and Sparkly.  He had that only for few days and then it died. He was very upset because that was his first pet. Then we bought a Betta fish for him - named Bluey followed by

Swimmy
Silky

and now again two Gold fish named Jelly and Jello

My daughter too loves fish. Couple of days before when we went for shopping, she ran to the pet section and grabbed a Betta fish.  She calls it as Gold fish. This is her first pet. She tries to put her hand inside the bowl to touch the fish, but it skips away, so we named as Skippy

Jack O' Lantern

Boo! Boo!

It's Halloween! It's Halloween!

The moon is full and bright

And we shall see what can't be seen
On any other night.

Kids are very excited about Halloween. We carved  pumpkin for the 1st time  and it came out well.

Its really fun to see kids in different costumes and going around for Trick or Treat. This year my son is a Scary Reaper and my daughter as a Wicked Witch.

Trick or Treat! Trick or Treat!
Give me something good to eat.
Give me candy. Give me cake.
Give me something good to take.

Butterfly

During summer my garden is full of butterflies. My son has a separate garden in our backyard full of Zinnia and wild mixed flowers. One day while I was sitting in our deck and enjoying my favorite ice cream looking at my garden, I thought of drawing a picture and write few lines.......

Tick Tock

Tick tock tick tock merrily sings the clock..... This is one of  my favorite rhymes....

I felt like writing a few lines about a clock.

Rose

Rose is a flower which everyone likes.  There are different colors of roses. Each color has different meanings -
Red for Love
White for Purity
Pink for  Innocence, Elegance
Yellow for Joy, Warmth  and so on.... I have 4 to 5 differently colored  roses in my garden.
